An old variety – Purple Emperor. Tall, lax growth and sparse flowers are made equal by the leaf and flower colours. Pots showing 3,4 or 4 shoots. Available in our 6 Superstars mix.
Similar to Jose Aubergine but more lax in growth – up to 70cm tall so beware of it flopping outward – the chelsea chop is useful with this plant to ensure a second flush of lower, more compact growth pre-flowering.
Its still a great AGM Hylo from 30+ years ago.
