RedStars Superstar Hylotelephium

This lovely Sedum (Hylotelephium)  produces dense , red,  flowers up to 8cm wide. Stems are flushed red and buds begin green-red before maturing to a rich, deep red. These contrast beautifully with the compact , red-edged, green-blue foliage. Most importantly, this has no pollen or anthers to carry the pollen so the red colour is so much stronger , undiluted by yellow pollen.   Finally turning to bronze after frosts into midwinter, this is an exceptional Hylotelephium.
Interesting Factoid – It can be fertilised by other sedums, but it cannot fertilise others – it has no pollen to give !
